I remember this night. it was the night i REALLY fell in love with Sabar. It wasn’t the sound on its own or the dance so much, but how the galen yii (the sticks) looked when they all played together (blurry and frenetic) so that the sound went into my body thru my eyes. THAT grabbed me, grabbed my soul.

the sticks… and that amazing dancer too, I guess! Everytime I watch this video I’m still amazed at how flexible he is… like “Did he just throw his leg OVER his head?”
