An old card reader from a broken camera….that’s where I found some old footage from a show in L.A. @ the El Rey theater starring Senegalese artists Fallou Dieng and Titi during their US tour in 2005 (?)…. footage of our since passed friend Ndongo Mbaye (dancing in the clip) and our master drummer & dancer L.A. resident Aziz Faye from the Sing Sing Family : Medina DAKAR.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about posting some juicy  Sabar in LA stuff and finding this old footage motivates me into action.

Amazing drummers Magatte Sow, Thiane & Balla Diouf and their father Pape Diouf, Aziz Faye and Oumar Mboup from the Sing Sing family of Dakar plus Sidya Cissokho, Samba Dioum, and the amazing dancers Aziz Faye, Fallou Ndiaye….. the list goes on….and then we have guests. watch out !
