::: as a photographer and painter I’m always “just looking” and observing. A friend of mine started calling me “xooley” from the Wolof  word (see Senegal) Xooli ::: “to stare”. From there it morphed into Miss Xooley. ::mX:: is an abbreviation of MissXooley…So that’s me, just looking…shooting pictures and little films of drum and dance, painting & writing about what I see and scouring the inter web for inspiration.
